DOTA Ulfsaar guide (item strategy)

Before the invasion of the Scourge, a race of intelligent bearmen called furbolgs cultivated a quiet spiritual society deep in the heart of Azshara. When most of their kind were murdered and corrupted by the Undead Scourge, the normally isolated furbolgs were forced to flee to the Sentinel for protection. Enraged by the defilement of his people's sacred land, Ulfsaar the Ursa Warrior uses his razor-sharp claws on his foes.

I'm going to assume you're already familiar with how to play the furbolg and what his abilities are in DOTA. However, if you're new, you might want to take a look at this Ursa hero guide.

These items are often seen on the Ursa Warrior. Are they any good to buy? Here's what we think.

• Vladmir's Offering: You can't go wrong with this green, creepy dead vampire hat. It has perfect synergy with Ulfsaar's ultimate skill, which does damage based on your current health. A vladimir will also let you solo Roshan at level 6 as Ursa, if you're lucky enough to not get continously stunned.
  
• Heart of the Tarrasque: Buy a HoT. Don't argue with me, just do it. It'll give you a huge boost in health regeneration (1% a second), and an additional 1,000 health points. That works out to 60 damage a hit using Enrage.
• Assault Cuirass: Only consider this one if you're playing a DOTA apem. It requires a lot of money to finish, but it's well worth it once you have your Heart of Tarrasque. You'll be a lot sturdier in combat due to the armor, and the attack speed will make Ulfsaar even deadlier. The beneficial and harmful auras it gives out are always nice too.
• Blink Dagger: People tend to run in DOTA when you've got your red overpower effects on. Why? Ulfsaar just wants a hug! This'll let you chase them even better, and help you land your Earthshocks properly.
• Lothar's Edge: Lothar is an alternative to blinking. Just run right up to someone and give them a big bear hug. Make sure you turn your skills on first. DO NOT EARTHSHOCK until you've landed a hit. There's extra damage when you come out of the invisibility windwalk.
• The Butterfly: Some people swear by this. However, it's not as useful as you might think, even though Ulfsaar is an agility DOTA hero. The heart and cuirass combo will help your combat effectiveness much more than this can. Grab a talisman later if you want the evasion. Butterfly shouldn't be considered in Ulfsaar the Ursa Warrior's builds until the last item.
• Monkey King Bar: Grab one of these instead of the Crystalys/Buriza if you're going for DPS. The extra damage based on your health was not counted as part of the criticals.
